Our October news includes our 2nd annual fundraiser; collaborations with STEAM Fest at the Discovery Center; and events in the arts, theatre, and literary spheres and more!
This creative workshop series offers participants a space to set down the weight of caregiving—if only for a while—and reconnect with themselves and others through the healing act of making art.
Our September news includes an exciting wrap-up on our K–12 Arts Scholarship program for this fall; welcoming new board members; and events and opportunities in all genres!
Did you know that just 45 minutes of creative activity has been shown to lessen stress in the body, regardless of your level of artistic experience or talent? During this time of social distancing, the Rutherford Arts Alliance wants to help you stay home and stay inspired! Follow our series or share your own creativity with #stayhomeandstayinspired and #makeartbewell.
Rutherford Arts Alliance will host its first juried art show at the Murfreesboro City Hall Rotunda Gallery from October 1 – November 15. A collaboration with the City of Murfreesboro, the Boro Art Crawl and the Discovery Center’s STEAM Festival, this event will showcase the rich creative culture of Rutherford County.
