Submit photos by Dec. 3 to "Accidental Beauty" Project

The RAA’s Arts Education interest group is excited to launch our community arts project "Accidental Beauty." Photographic entries are being accepted through December 3 and will be displayed online in a virtual exhibit.

What is this project all about?

The Accidental Beauty project is about recognizing the beauty in our community - the things we find beautiful in our surroundings, whether they were intended to be "beautiful" or not.

Who can submit an entry?

Anyone in the Rutherford County community is welcome and encouraged to submit! This can include students, Rutherford Arts Alliance members, and other community members. All are welcome.

how do I participate?

  1. Identify something in the Rutherford County community that you find beautiful.

Maybe it's a building. Maybe it's an object. Maybe it's a place. Maybe it's as tall as a tree. Maybe it's as tiny as a seed. Maybe it's something that was meant to be beautiful. Maybe it's only beautiful "on accident."

The only requirements are that it is part of our Rutherford County community and that YOU find it beautiful.

  2. Take a photo of your beautiful something.

    No special photography skills needed.

  3. Complete the form at the following link and upload your photo:
