There's mural making going on throughout Rutherford County, and YOU can be part of it! On Saturday, October 19, iconic artist and local resident Norris Hall will lead a free community painting project on the exterior wall of Vine Street Marketplace.

A reception for the RAA’s first juried art show will be held at the Murfreesboro City Hall Rotunda Gallery, 111 W. Vine St., on Friday, October 11, during the Boro Art Crawl.

The event is a collaboration with the City of Murfreesboro, the Boro Art Crawl, and the Discovery Center’s STEAM Festival. Patrons will have a chance to meet and greet many of the contributing artists representing a wide variety of art forms.

Join us at our October meeting! Our agenda includes an Alliance update, a short program by our host, Washington Gallery and Washington Theater at Patterson Park Community Center, and time for attendees to mingle, network, and share their arts-related announcements.

The Alley on Main has selected Rutherford Arts Alliance as the non-profit to benefit from its Monday, Oct. 7, wine tasting dinner. Limited to only 30 diners, half of the $40 ticket price will be donated to the Rutherford Arts Alliance for public art projects in our county.
