A mingle for creative writers will be held Sunday, 5/4, from 5:30 to 8:30 in a special location - around an outdoor fire! Kindle your creativity when you connect with other writers in a relaxed setting—and even sit down and write for a bit, if you’re so inspired. Come and go anytime. This mingle will be hosted by Poetry in the Boro and Writers Mingle regular Killian Gunn at the firepit of his residential complex. (For those of you accustomed to joining us at the Dapper Owl, he lives just a bit past there.)
Sponsored by the literary interest group of the Rutherford Arts Alliance, Poetry in the Boro, and MTSU Write, this event is free and open to writers of all genres and experience levels (including “thinking about writing”).

More about the mingle and Host
The main goal of the mingle is for writers of all genres to connect and just hang out! For this mingle we plan, at 7:00 PM, for a 10 minute program of writerly inspiration offered by this month's guest host, Killian Gunn.
Killian Gunn, who’s recently adopted the stage name Sir.KAG (pronounced Cage) is a longtime member of the Murfreesboro Community Garden and finds fulfillment in gardening and being of service to people. He started writing in October of 2023 and has been in love with the craft ever since. For the mingle, he says his goal is to pass on his love and comfort with the controlled burn of a good smelling campfire.
