  • The MTSU Foundation House 324 West Thompson Lane Murfreesboro, TN, 37129 United States (map)

Join us for our April meeting when we celebrate National Poetry Month with Poetry in the Boro!

Poetry in the Boro is a monthly reading and open mic series that was founded in 2016. This month, they’re observing National Poetry Month by welcoming feature Allison Blevins, a visiting writer from Minnesota who has local ties as a mentor with MTSU Write, a from-home mentorship program for creative writers.

Allison is the author of several books, most recently Cataloguing Pain, which is just out from YesYes Books. She is the Founder and Director of Small Harbor Publishing, the Executive Editor at the museum of americana, and the co-organizer of the Downtown Poetry reading series.
